Client-Side EXIF Stripping & Downscaling
Before any image byte leaves your browser or phone, the HTML5 Canvas API strips camera metadata, GPS location stamps, and device identifiers. The image is downscaled to a privacy-safe size (max 512px).
Color Histogram & Texture Gradient Heuristic
Our documented heuristic evaluates RGB distributions and texture variances:
- Color Classification: Evaluates luminance and hue thresholds to separate natural brown bile from pale, red, yellow, green, or tarry black tones.
- Bristol Type Estimation: Analyzes shape circularity and spatial pixel entropy to distinguish separate hard lumps (Type 1) from smooth logs (Type 4) and liquid consistency (Type 7).
Transparent Gut Score Calculation (0-100)
Ideal types (Bristol 3 and 4) receive baseline scores of 88 and 98 respectively. Constipated types (1, 2) and diarrheal types (6, 7) receive transit deviation penalties. If a clinical red flag is detected, scores reflect appropriate medical caution.
Human-In-The-Loop Confirmation
